1. Service

SilkRead is a browser extension that provides webpage translation features for Chrome and Edge. You may use free browser translation features and optional paid AI translation features.

2. Pay-As-You-Go Tokens

Paid AI translation is sold as prepaid digital translation tokens. Token packs are one-time purchases and do not create a subscription. We do not charge renewal fees or hidden recurring fees.

Current token packs include $5 for 50,000 translation tokens, $10 for 120,000 translation tokens, and $25 for 350,000 translation tokens. Token usage depends on the selected AI model and the amount of text translated.

3. Refund Policy

Since we offer pay-as-you-go digital tokens, refunds are available within 7 days of purchase, provided that less than 5% of the purchased tokens have been consumed.

To request a refund, contact us at support@getsilkread.com with the email address used for purchase and your order information. This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights required by applicable law.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SilkRead to violate laws, infringe third-party rights, abuse translation providers, attempt to bypass usage limits, or interfere with the operation of the service.

5. Availability

We work to keep SilkRead reliable, but the service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, browser changes, network issues, or third-party translation provider outages.
